Are famous mediums better than local psychics or spiritual advisors? Is it worth paying hundreds…..or even thousands of dollars to see someone based solely on their “brand” name?

And does the fact that someone has written a book, or appears on TV make them more accurate, or more likely to be spiritually superior…..or is that more about marketing, than mediumship?

The truth is, my own worst experience came at the very beginning of my spiritual journey, and was with a well known reader who sounds remarkably similar to the person described in the article below..:-)

(I have no idea if they called the same psychic, but the tone and conversation is very close,  and was equally as disappointing as well)

You DON’T need to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a good medium.

There are plenty of good mediums who ARE expensive (George Anderson, for example) but there are plenty others who are just okay, and are highly over-rated, and totally overpriced.  Many local psychics, mediums and spiritual light workers are affordable, honest and amazingly accurate, and in my experience, can be a great bargain, and benefit for those of you just getting started on the spiritually curious path.

Check out the article below for an example of what SOME celebrity psychics and mediums really ARE like, and I agree with this assesement from personal experience as well.  Enjoy 🙂

The next 10 minutes of my 30 minute session were followed by a list of supplements that I should be taking and general health advice – like eat more chicken and fish for protein.

She then said, “I want you to take lecithin”, and then spelled it: L-E-C-I-T-H-I-N.

I could feel the wind swishing out of my sails because this is definitely not what I signed up for. At $700 for a half hour reading, it had just cost me $230 for someone to tell me to eat more protein!

Was this one of those psychic scams or was she saving the best for last? Maybe some great insight was coming. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t!

Houston, We Have a Problem

Next, this woman, one of the most famous psychics in the country told me that I would be meeting a man with dark hair in the fall of 2003. Whoops! I’m already married, I told her.

“Well, it’s not going to work out, hon.” Wow, really, because we’ve been together since I was 13 years old. Panic started to set in and it hit me that she was not legitimate at all. I hoped she’d prove me wrong.
