A beautiful account of Roger Ebert’s last moments – including what he described to his wife as a state of “moving between this world, and the next” for several weeks prior to his death. For those of us who remember him well, Roger Ebert was a well known atheist who didn’t believe in an afterlife, and yet, his last few months, as told by his wife, seem to suggest he had a profound change of heart, and a profound set of spiritually transformative experience on the way out of this world, and into whatever it is, that awaits us all. Really well worth reading for both believers and the curious but not yet convinced as well!
