Should you see a medium?  How much research do you need to do before paying for a psychic medium reading?  What about if you have a spouse, parent, child or even a best friend who is a skeptic, cynic or non believer?

We get a lot of questions about how to pick a medium.  (no surprise there….considering that’s the theme of our community 🙂  But of course, being able to give people the perfect advice, for their particular set of circumstances, is never easy…and is always fraught with some risk.

After a number of years running this (and other spirit centered communities) we’ve pretty much seen everything on the spectrum – good experiences, bad experiences, confusing experiences, inspiring experiences, disappointing experiences, and life affirming, transforming experiences.

I’ve seen two people from the same family – see the same medium – on the same exact day – in different appointments – and have wildly different experiences (and opinions) on the legitimacy of the experience.

I think my best advice to those of you thinking about seeing a psychic medium is two fold:

  1.  Keep an open mind, but not SO open that your brains fall out.
  2. No risk, no magic.

Don’t spend money you don’t have, on an experience that may not be what you need.  But also understand, that human beings are a fickle and unpredictable bunch…..and if you truly seek magic or the extraordinary, understand that there is always going to be risk.

Financial risk for some.

Emotional risk for others.  Elation, excitement, relief and disappointment are all on offer, all on the menu, when you seek out a medium for connection or for closure.

Be prepared for the unexpected – buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
