Are near death experiences the best evidence for an afterlife? If not…..what is?

There is a lot of debate in spiritual growth circles about what is actually the BEST evidence for an afterlife. Many of the mediums we work with believe that messages from the dead, are the absolutely BEST “proof” for life after death. Others, even those who believe in mediumship readings, think there could be other explanations for how mediums pick up information, and that psychic abilities, don’t necessarily “prove” that the afterlife is real. (or that even the best mediums are getting information from spirits)

Near death experiences fall into the same bucket. Some people believe that they are the BEST evidence for an afterlife, and others believe there are other ways to explain even some of the most powerful NDE’s.

There are 2 types of near death experience, that we believe are the absolute BEST evidence that the human spirit continues on after physical death.

1. Shared Death Experiences (when 2 or more people share in the NDE – and can describe details that are remarkably similar thereafter)
2. Veridical Near death experiences (where people see things that are later verified, that were far away from their physical bodies)

Some of the amazing and inspiring NDE’s featured on NDERF.org have both of these qualities. Check out some of the most extraordinary near death experiences featured in 2017 to get a better sense of how amazing many of these life changing spiritual adventures are – for both believers, and the curious but not yet convinced!

I used a wheelchair and was completely stiffened – so this experience of actually running was so freeing, so amazing, so wonderful! Looking forward, the tube seemed endless, twisting away into eternal space, but I didn’t care because I was so free, and every running step took me eons away. Then I was suddenly in a beautiful place, with a meadow to my left descending down a rolling hill, and wildflowers, and a lush green forest in the distance beyond the meadow.
