Matt Lauer gets a psychic medium reading with Tyler Henry….and the results are pretty remarkable.  Matt Lauer is a high profile journalist with a lot of credibility in the mainstream media community, so I have to admit, I was a bit surprised to see him agree to do a live reading with Tyler Henry, and make it known to the world.  An admitted skeptic, it’s no surprise that Lauer was apprehensive about who would (or would not) come through.

Amazingly, not only has Matt raved about his reading with the “Hollywood Medium” to co-workers and his celebrity community, he has also admitted to being so overwhelmed by the information, that he went home and cried, feeling like a real reunion had taken place.

Matt Lauer ‘Got Home and Cried’ After Reconnecting with His Late Father Through Hollywood Medium Tyler Henry

Matt Lauer is a skeptic no more.

The Today show anchor recently had a psychic reading with Tyler Henry, star of E!’s Hollywood Medium. Though Lauer, 58, “didn’t understand the process” at first, the veteran journalist later revealed Henry, 20, was “spot-on” with certain personal narratives.

Henry began his reading by asking for a pocket knife Lauer had with him that once belonged to his maternal grandfather. As Henry often explains, “Holding onto an object will actually make a stronger connection with a particular person.”

That particular person this time was Lauer’s late father, Robert, who spent the last few weeks of his life at home under hospice care before his death in 1997.

Among the striking connections Henry had made was a father-son bond over fishing. “I don’t know if you’re aware of this. But he’s acknowledging an individual out on a boat, and I feel like I’m sitting alone and I’m fishing and I’m thinking, ‘Dad.’ And he’s having me acknowledge this feeling of like I’m there with you. I’m there with you,” Henry shared.

Lauer, who enjoys solo fishing trips, confirmed that he and his father loved two passions: fishing and golfing.

After the clip aired, the newsman – who is currently reporting from the Rio Olympics – revealed that he refrained from tearing up on camera. “I got home and I cried,” he said to Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Dylan Dreyer and Tamron Hall.
