Q: How much does “The Hollywood Medium” charge for a private reading?

Is it affordable or as out of reach as most of us expect, given Tyler’s current enormous 15 minutes of fame? (of which, we hope is JUST beginning, as he is truly one of our favorite mediums, not only because of his readings, but his smart, sensitive and down to earth approach as well)

The truth is, like many famous psychic mediums at the absolute apex of their celebrity, trying to pin down exactly how much it’s going to cost to get a reading with Tyler Henry is NOT all that easy. Many different prices as posted around the web, as with his current focus being his TV show, book tour and associated events, it’s not going to be so simple for average people to get instant access.

That said, here are 3 super simple ways you can increase your odds of getting a reading with Tyler, and NOT having to break your budget to boot.

The stars are lined up for #HollywoodMedium‘s return to E!. Watch an exclusive clip of what’s to come now:

1 – Sign up for one of his fan giveaways on social media. He does these fairly often, and they seem to be endearing much of his audience to following him on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to get a chance to win as well. ( a good marketing strategy for him and a great opportunity for his fans. A win/win for all!)

2 – Attend one of his TV appearances as an audience member. This is a great way, as an audience member, to get a live, personal reading from Tyler Henry for FREE. The truth is, this is NOT as difficult as it may sound, and with Tyler’s upcoming book tour, he’ll be doing lots and lots of live media, which will give you an opportunity to see him up close and personal in many cities across the country. (the bigger the city obviously, the more chances you’ll have to see him as part of a studio audience)

  • hello Tyler I so so need your help I am stuck and I don’t know what to do I feel like I let my mom down

  • Tyler Henry tells Matt Lauer that Matt’s deceased father is so proud of him and everything he’s done…..

Fast forward a few months later and all hell breaks loose for Matt Lauer; he’s fired from his esteemed NBC Today Show host position on allegations of sexual harassment, Matt’s wife files for divorce, and Matt is told to get out of the house by his disgusted wife.

So much for Tyler channeling Matt’s “proud of his son” daddy!

Tyler Henry does a reading for TV entertainer Alan Thicke. Tyler tells Alan that he should go and get a checkup. A short time later Thicke dies from a massive heart attack.

If Tyler Henry were an intuitive he would have told Alan Thicke to HAUL ASS to his cardiologist! Not just a routine check up!

Tyler Henry does a reading for former child star Corey Feldman and purportedly congers up the spirit of the deceased former child star Corey Haim. Lots of theatrics play out as Tyler and Feldman try to “score an Emmy Award” with their nauciating performance.

Corey Haim’s mother was livid because she says that, “Corey Feldman is the last person her son would want to make contact with if there’s indeed an afterlife.”

The fact is nobody can communicate with the dead. Why? The dead are dead. There is no afterlife, it’s just a fairy story for people who are afraid of the dark. As the late great Dr. Stephen Hawking put it.

    • No afterlife? That is your opinion. You can not just say there is NO afterlife. Too many of us out here have had contact with spirits. I don’t personally believe the dead can speak, but they can send messages to us. These messages to us are not always crystal clear. Mine are usually VERY clear, but don’t contain a lot of specific details. There is a HUGE afterlife. Our bitsy little time on earth is just the beginning. Our afterlife, be if good or bad is for an eternity.

      • Hi Katrina – We’re all just speculating about whether there is an afterlife – or not. The vast majority of scientists who study the brain – and the body – and the physical world in general posit that there is much we don’t yet understand about our place in the cosmos – but very, very few take seriously the notion of a human soul – let alone one that somehow vacates the body at the moment of death – and goes to reside in some other place “forever” – as you suggest above. (even the idea of “eternity” is a goofy choice of words – how do any of us know what “time” would be like in a spirit world – or what “eternity” might really be – if we were denuded of brains and bodies from which to track days/weeks/years or eons?)

I don’t agree that Tyler Henry is an intentional “fraud” per the commentor above – but that’s just my feeling – and a guess based on my own life experience. You may get plenty of information that “feels” deeply intuitive – or like it’s emanating from the energy of people who have passed away – but even parapsychologists who study mediums – and near death experiences – and ESP phenomena of all types – don’t agree that if these phenomena turn out to be true – that they “prove” there is some sort of afterlife – that’s a pretty tall order – most likely a long shot even if psychic abilities are true (which I believe they are) – there are many other explanatory models that support psychic functioning – and conform to what we know about the universe – that don’t require an “afterlife” as well.

    • That is not true. Before making such assumptions.. I’d do some research. Maybe, just maybe, the reason you don’t/can’t communicate with spirit, is because of your poor choices and views. Judging, with out knowing anything, and letting fear of the “unknown” (to you) get to you and make you lash out negatively to others. Lastly, what was the point of your comment? Was it uplifting, and come from a loving place? Or, was it malicious, and come from malice, jealousy, and ignorance? I’d put my money on the latter. Since we are apparently in elementary… ill tell you what my mommy always told me…if you don’t have anything nice (uplifting, loving) to say….don’t say anything at all. You are Loved. Try being positive and optimistic. See how your life changes. Be blessed.

      Love and Light xoxo
      Gigi Elise

      • Hi Gigi – thanks for your comments – and while we don’t agree with the tone of “Orly’s” post above – I’m not sure your response was as skillful – or insightful – or uplifting – as you may believe it to be, either. To respond to a comment you believe is negative and insulting – with a pedantic lecture – absent any real insight on why Orly is misguided simply because you believe in spiritual dimensions – or you believe you are communicating with spirit yourself – or any other combination – is simply full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. For those looking for empirical evidence of psychic gifts – or evidential mediumship – it’s certainly fair game to criticize some of the obvious omissions in Tyler Henry’s readings above – and he has been asked about some of these, and offered thoughtful and humble responses of his own – in interviews and other formats. (for example – if Tyler Henry fans want to count his warning to Alan Thicke as a “hit” – it’s certainly not off the table to wonder why his warnings – either on camera or off – weren’t stronger or more strident, if he believed those heart troubles were going to result in a sudden death – only months later) When serious scientists study mediumship – which we as a community are interested in (see the Windbridge Institute or The Rhine Center or University of Arizona or the University of Virginia) – these sorts of readings wouldn’t be strongly considered as evidence for an afterlife. (they may be thought of as pointing to a sort of “psychic feeling” functioning or evidence of precognition) The truth is, the vast majority of scientists agree with Orly above – from neuroscience to physics to psychology – like Steven Hawking’s quotes per Orly’s comments – is increasingly hostile to the idea of an afterlife. That doesn’t mean it’s not true of course – or that there is a spiritual dimension that exists outside of our current understanding – but to attack Orly’s motives above – and to insult him or her for “not being able to communicate with spirit” because of his or her own shortcomings…..or overall attitude – that doesn’t work for us, either. There are many “mediums” who are quite deluded with regard to their “ability” to speak to spirit – anyone who works in this industry is confronted by that delusion quite often – and when we personally try to educate someone who has a negative or skeptical opinion about the evidence – confronting them with actual evidence, is usually the best approach. (not telling them they are deficient in some way that you are not – or that their attitude is juvenile – or that they simply don’t know what you know – without providing any demonstrable evidence of what you know – isn’t gonna change many hearts and minds – and isn’t emblematic of the “you are loved” motif, attitude – either.

        • Us pesky imperfect humans huh Goodkarma….πŸ˜‰
Certainly the longer I’m here, the more I know only one thing as act, and that is that I really truly don’t know shit. Lol This coming from someone who truely had a handle on, and understood how everything worked at age 10. Lol
I do believe more than ever in my life the magnitude of importance of comparison, loving kindness, forgiveness, and staying in my lane. πŸ˜‰The old adage of how can you judge me having never walked a mile in my shoes. Yes how on earth can I possibly judge something I have no clue of? Though humans almost seem hard wired to judge. The reality is, it’s learned, it just began so long ago that there is no way to pin point. Lol Change is not easy, and in most cases, why most folks on paths of enlightenment refer to it as a practice. Perfection is not some kind of prize with a finish line, and besides, what may feel perfect for you, could be completely different for another. I know how hard being open without judgement is, please beleive. I was born in the south into three generations of Pentecostal preachers and teachers. Lol My journey has been, and still is, a practice that I do not by any means do perfectly. However, it’s my very own exclusive to me journey, no one else’s. I do now seek, crave knowledge, and enlightenment. I do that through taking what I can use, and leaving the rest. I refrain from persuasion/opinions, and try if asked focus only on sharing my own personal experience strength and hope. I do work diligently not to fall prey to the insidiousness of judgement, while asking always to come from a place of love, compassion, grace.
Your words resonate with me. Thank you…

          • Thank you, Mel! There is a “Zen” saying I love about trying to sift through what is useful or helpful on this path. The teacher I used to study with would say, “When you swallow the fish whole – you’re going to have to spit out some Bones” I’ve always thought this was a very useful injunction – as it tells me there are many wise people in the world – and much wisdom – but it doesn’t mean we need to accept everything they say – or believe things on bad evidence – or accept them as without blind spots. we can take what helps – and reject or “spit up” what isn’t ready (or readily) digested. This is very true in the spiritual growth space – and infuses a sense of humility, where it belongs. (as we’re all stumbling down this road together – and what we don’t know, is much of the road πŸ™‚ Thanks so much for your comment – much appreciated! (PS – the other partners I have on this platform hate when I comment on these posts – so I appreciate your nice words! πŸ™‚

  • Hit

Tyler I would really appreciate a reading from you I lost my brothers to cancer and my heart is still breaking please help me grieve but don’t know how I’m so lost without him o pray you will answer

  • Tyler you are absolutely amazing, The way you have helped so many people. I hope you come to Cincinnati , Ohio in the near future. Is there any way possible of getting an autograph picture. Thank you so much for your time. My mom and dad always had a rocky marriage, did they ever find happiness

  • Hi Tyler Henry. I am between a rock and a hard place and my story is quite complicated. I cannot come out in the open and speak my mind because it is difficult for me to outwardly tell you of my situation. For sometime i have been put down and i have low esteem and i am always depressed because people have put me down often, so i am reluctant in trusting anyone. So i just keep to my self and become a loner. I try to keep upbeat but only find happiness in the laughter of others. Even seeing happiness on your face brighten up my day. But later i find myself back dragging and moping around the house. I have no email address so my good friend said that i could use his email address. He is the only one that understands me and i can talk too him. He listens and hardly speaks to me only if i ask him for help. He does not want to hurt my feelings so he say things that will not make me feel depress.

    • Hi Dustin! I’m really sorry to hear you are struggling with some of the above – it’s no fun to feel alone and no fun to be depressed. I would say 2 things in response. 1 – There are millions of people who share the same struggle! And millions of people who will be happy to know you and interact with you and learn from your story. (feel free to email us – or have your friend email us – for some recommendations) 2. Tyler Henry isn’t going to read the comments on this page – but he will read (or at least more likely read) comments on his own FB or Twitter – or social stream. So reach out that way – as I don’t want you to feel ignored – but if history is our guide – the comments on our blog, are rarely responded to by the folks we feature, or by our membership overall. πŸ™‚

I took care of my mother and sister for 14 years. My mother had alzheimer my sister was physically disabled. My mother passed on 2/19/13 my sister passed on 2/20/13. My sister was not sick other than her physical disability. Then 2 months before she passed she got really sick and took a turn for the worse. My sister was 62. She was my best friend. My mother always worried that no one could care for my sister like she could. I promised her I would but instead it was like my son said that it was meant that they die together. My heart is broken. I still miss these two women more than anything u can imagine. Even though I have a full time job as a legal assistant, my purpose in life was taking care of these amazing women. I need to know I did all I could for both of them. The day my mother passed and we were by my sisters bed my son and I saw 2 flashes of light pass by the window. My son said it was yiayia and Patou (grandmother and grandfather) checking in on my sister to see that she was ready. I just need to know that they were OK with me and my care. I miss them terribly
