Are Ghosts Real?

Here is a fun and entertaining mischevious ghost video we shared on one of our other communities earlier today…along with an article on videos and pictures of ghosts, spirits and other phenomena in advance of the spooky season! 🙂 (Halloween in only 10 days away) While we don’t know if this video taken from a Blockbuster in Mexico was doctored or not, it’s still alot of fun to watch – the kid’s reaction at the end- if real, is pretty darn funny for sure!

Are ghosts real? Is there any genuine documentation that ghosts exist?  What about photos and videos of apparitions, spirits and similar spiritual phenomena?

Have they all been de-bunked or discredited?

Is there any genuine documentation of a genuine ghost or apparition caught on tape? And what should YOU do if you see an apparition, or an IMAGE of one, ind, but don’t quite know how to tell if it’s fact, or fiction?

Any of these questions sound familiar? The truth is, there is nothing that kills the spirit (no pun intended:-) of those of us who are genuinely interested in exploring the wild, wacky and wonderful world of the paranormal, then the constant stream of negative commentary that invariably comes from the skeptical community.

In my view? If you LET it… it can transform the magic and mystery and meaning of genuine spiritual curiosity, into something that feels embarrassing or shameful to want to explore.

Here is something that many skeptics and cynics won’t tell you about spirit communication, simply because they don’t know.

1 – Thomas Edison, often considered the single greatest inventor of the last 200 years, was working on a “spirit phone” up until the time of his death, speculating that the human soul or spirit should it be able to continue on after the death of the body, would be able to exert an electrical influence on man made devices from THAT side, to this one.

2 – The great scientific genius Nikola Tesla, who actually WORKED for Edison in his youth and later far surpassed Edison in terms of engineering intellect, also believed that spirits, should they exist, would be leave “imprints” in our environment, which sensitive equipment should be able to detect.  Tesla who hated Edison for a number of reasons, told multiple sources that the spirit phone idea was HIS, and that Edison was taking (and ruining) one of his greatest ideas again.

3 – Benjamin Franklin famously said THIS, in a private letter to a friend who had lost a child, about his belief in God, spirits and the afterlife:

We are spirits. That bodies should be lent us, while they can afford us pleasure, assist us in acquiring knowledge, or doing good to our fellow creatures, is a kind and benevolent act of God.

The truth is, there are many thousands of famous intellectuals, artists, authors and spiritual seekers who have had first hand experience with ghosts, apparitions and the spirits of those who have crossed over.

Thousands and thousands of these anecdotal cases are detailed, described and often documented in the lives of ordinary people… each and every year. I’ve personally been honored to hear the stories of many hundreds of ordinary people who have had extraordinary experiences that defy conventional logic about what happens to our bodies after we die.

So are all ghosts videos real? Even the ones that LOOK real?

Of course not. There are plenty that are faked, or are full of honest intention but can be easily explained by experts who understand anomalies, better than apparitions.

But all you need is ONE video to be real, amongst the tens of thousands that exist, to be evidence that ghosts exist. And once you have evidence of ONE, all other cases are fair to explore.

To use the famous words of William James, a scientist who studied spirit in later life – and widely considered to be one of the great intellectuals of the last 300 years (and the subject of the great book by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Deborah Blum titled – “Ghost Hunters”)

“If you wish to upset the law that all crows are black, you mustn’t seek to show that no crows are; it is enough if you prove one single crow to be white”

The same is true with any thing that endeavors to explore anomalous areas of human experience.

You only need ONE authentic ghost story to prove that ghosts are real.

All the rest can be fakes, frauds and mistakes.

But the one that is true, gives rise to the reality that ghosts can exist. And once you know that ghosts can exist… everything else in the realm of spirit becomes safe to explore!
