Are psychics reliable? Can you truly get information you can really trust…..or is the whole experience one wild and woolly crap shoot?  Are you curious?  Many of our readers are…and to be totally honest with you, many are probably FAR more skeptical and cynical than true believers.

Here is the deal.  A good psychic will give you good information.  Plain and simple.  But don’t forget, just because someone has amazing intuitive abilities, or  is clairvoyant, clairaudient or clairsentient, does NOT mean that they don’t make mistakes.  Actually, all psychic information is filtered through the prism of personality.  They may “see” or sense information completely correctly, but interpret it a bit incorrectly (or even inappropriately) simply because their perspective is different than yours.

The best psychics are able to read somewhat dispassionately.  They don’t get super involved on an emotional level with the reading.  They keep a comfortable distance. Why?  It makes the information less emotionally charged, in more reliable as a result.  Some of the best (and most accurate) psychics who do criminal work, or who help with police investigations, often maintain an “eerie” detachment from the most horrendous of cases……simply because it keeps the information they get pure and pristine.

The key thing I look for in a reader is this:

Friendliness, but NOT someone who is overly interested in being my “friend”.  Yes or no answers only.  Not a lot of small talk.  Essentially, I want to pick up the phone, (or see someone one ) who brings out the BEST and most enlightening information, in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of diversions and distractions.

And once you find an accurate psychic who brings that to the table, you know you’ve got a keeper that’s worth coming back to again and again.

Web Psychic Readings – The REAL Reasons We Prefer Online Psychics EVERY Time (So Will YOU)

Why do we recommend web psychic readings over “in person” appointments?  If you’ve been reading our articles or blog posts for any length of time, you may be wondering why we DON’T encourage our readers to visit psychics who do face to face readings.

And I want to set something straight right now:  I’ve personally had some AMAZING readings with genuine psychics who only do “face to face” work.  They don’t work on the phone.  They don’t “do” email at all.  And they certainly don’t do (or probably even know how..:-) web chat, skype or other new fangled technological style stuff.

But the truth is, those psychics are REALLY difficult to find.  And almost EVERY time I’ve had a really good in person reading, it’s been on the recommendation of someone I know and trust whose “in the business”, rather than finding them through an ad, the yellow pages or a street sign.

The truth is, in my extensive experience, most mediums, clairvoyants and intuitives you’ll find off line, are not very good.  I would say that out of every 10 readings I’ve gotten this way, in my lifetime, 8 or even 9 have been bad.  Cold reading types of experiences, where the “psychic” was asking for FAR too much information, was keenly watching my body language and trying to extract information with leading questions and comments.

The advantage of a web psychic?

You can read reviews and opinions of prior customers and clients.  You have anonymity.  It’s NON confrontational.  (i.e. – you can hang up the phone or close the connection whenever you want….without the fear of upsetting someone when you’re one on one)

And in many cases, at least the services that we recommend, you can get your money back if you are NOT satisfied with the result of the reading.  And that’s just something you won’t find (or ask for) when you’re sitting in front of a stranger you don’t know, trust or believe!

2 Easy Ways To Tell if a Psychic is the Real Deal (Ultra Important if a Real Reading is What You’re After)

Let’s talk for a few minutes about finding authentic and impressive psychic readings. Do you find yourself having trouble telling if your psychic is the genuine article?

It’s actually a pretty common concern, and with cold reading techniques and so many other sneaky psychic reading strategies becoming so commonly available, many people find themselves skeptical of any psychic or service they stumble across.

In my view, this is really a sad and unfortunate error.

Why?  Because there is truly nothing more amazingly magical, mystical or miraculous than discovering a genuine psychic you can really trust...and the “opening” up of information and enlightenment that comes with realizing that you are FAR more than a psychical body.  The truth?  Most people will never get this first hand experience…and will only get a “glimpse” of this sort of stuff through religious services, dogma, or leaders and books.

But if you are willing ,and resourceful, you CAN find psychic services that are SO impressive that leave you forever convinced psychic abilities are TRUE. (and quite amazing to boot!)

With that in mind, here are 2 signs that I personally look for when picking a psychic service, or individual intuitive.  While I now have my own favorites that I stick with, this approach has served MY journey well, and hope it does the same for yours!

Sign #1:  Testimonials, social proof and rabid, recurring fans and clients

If you’ve read our paranormal articles in the past, you’ll recognize that I’ve pointed out if you DON’T see this sort of stuff with a psychic service, you should avoid them at all costs.

The same, however…..works equally as well in their FAVOR, when you do see it.  For example, while some people are easily “duped”, if you see tons of people flocking to one particular psychic, or one particular service, you can be pretty sure that there is a good reason for it.  And the more positive feedback you see for an individual intuitive, the more comfortable I am that the reading is going to be the “real deal” as well.

Sign #2:  They put their money…where they’re mouth is!

Quite simply, are they willing to guarantee their services?  Is there a money back guarantee?  How about other promises that protect you from a bad reading?  In my experience, the REAL networks will go out of their way to “prove” to you their readers are real.  And this means making, and offering great guarantees that you simply won’t find elsewhere.  When you get this initial piece of mind promised up front, I find the quality of the readings that follows is usually well worth the wait!
