4 Tips for Getting a Great Psychic Reading

Who else is thinking about getting a psychic reading?

If you are anything like I used to be when I first got interested in psychic phenomena, you are probably a bit apprehensive about getting your first reading, right? It’s true….and for most people, procrastination leads them to put it off completely!

As a matter of fact, in my own case……from the time I initially decided to get a reading, until the time I actually was brave enough to go in and do it was almost a year and a half! (this was a wee bit before the popular online and telephone networks were so readily available)

So what is my best advice if you are thinking about going out and getting a reading, but aren’t sure what the best way to go about ensuring the experience is a good one? Read on as we take a closer look!

Preparation is Paramount!

Or said differently, do a little bit of due diligence before you get a reading. Check out some reviews. Check out a web site or two. Be a wise consumer! Know what you want before you go in…and simply go out and get it.

Know your Definitions!

If you want to connect with a loved one who is on the other side for example, you’d want to see a medium. If you want to find out whether you are going to fall in love this year, go and see a love psychic! Knowing that every psychic is a bit different as learning that all doctors are a bit different…..or that lawyers specialize in different areas of the law, too! The same is true of psychics….and understanding this is a great way of preparing yourself for a rewarding (and relevant) reading.

Go with Your Gut!

If you find a psychic service, or individual intuitive that just "feels" right for you, go with it. Some of the best readings I’ve gotten personally have been from psychics who I just had a good feeling about. some of the bigger name "celebrity" psychics, who I had a BAD feeling about (but went to simply because of their "name", I’ve gotten some of my WORST readings from) Trusting your own intuition, is a big part of picking a good ANYTHING in life, and ironically….is really important in this arena as well.

Keep an OPEN Mind

It’s amazing how many people go in for a psychic reading with a "closed" mind. They believe it’s all going to be a scam, and therefore…end up prejudicing the reading before it even begins. A psychic is a person…with feelings, and sensitivities just like you and I. The more you make them feel on the spot, or having to "prove" to you they are real before you even begin, the less likely they are to feel a rapport with you, OR really WANT to help you. It’s simply a human thing..:-)

So simply suspend your disbelief for 30 minutes if you are a hard core cynic, and just open your mind to the magic…and the mystery of what we DON’T know about this crazy universe we live in. Trust me when I tell you….the moment I did this myself, was the moment I learned that there is MUCH more to this world than what meets the eye. (and my life has never been the same again!)
